Which account types and leverage ratios are available in OANDA Global Markets?

You can open a personal account. You cannot open a joint account.

• By default all accounts are Standard accounts with a spread-only pricing.
• If you meet our acceptance criteria, you can upgrade any Standard account to a Premium or Premium Plus account.
• To change your account type, contact your relationship manager or our Customer Experience team, or email OGM_RM@oanda.com.

For the Standard account, no initial deposit is required.

For the Premium account, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Deposit USD 10,000 or meet USD 10 million notional trading volume per mont

2. Maintain a trading volume of > USD 30 million notional per calendar quarter.

For the Premium Plus account, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Meet USD 50 million notional trading volume per month

2. Maintain a trading volume of > USD 200 million notional per calendar quarter.

You may use a credit card, debit card, bank wire transfer, Neteller, Skrill or alternative payment methods. For more information, refer to our deposit guide.
