What is required to open a demo account?

Due to regulatory reasons, clients from Spain cannot open a demo account.

Yes. All instruments and trading conditions on the demo account are the same as on the live account. The only difference is that on the demo account, you use virtual funds, while on the live account, you use your own money. Note that with a demo account, you only have access to the MT5 trading platform and our OANDA app. Client Zone and TradingView are not available for demo users.

The demo account expires 180 days after your last login. If you log in to the demo account only through our mobile app, the account expires 180 days after your registration. If you don't have our mobile app, you can download it for free.

  1. After launching the app, click on SIGN UP on the first screen.

    If you are logged in, you need to follow these steps to get to the first screen:

    • Click on the four dots icon

    • Click on the exit icon

    • Click on Sign up in the top right corner

  2. Click on TEST FOR FREE

  3. Enter your email address and phone number and click on OPEN DEMO ACCOUNT. You will receive an email and SMS with your account details.

On our website, in the header section, click on Demo. Enter your name, email address and phone number, and submit the form. Confirm your registration by clicking on the link sent to your email. Shortly after, you will receive your login details (username and password) for the demo account. You will also receive a link via SMS to download the OANDA TMS Brokers mobile app. Install it on your phone and enjoy all its functionalities.
You can create a new demo account from the Client Zone only if you already have a live account.

  1. Log in to the Client Zone.

  2. From the left navigation, click on My account, and then click on OPEN NEW DEMO ACCOUNT.

  3. A confirmation window appears with the demo account’s login and password.

If you want to open a demo account, simply provide your correct email address and phone number, to which we will send a link to the OANDA mobile app. If you don't have it yet, download it to your phone.

The demo account contains 50,000 virtual Polish złoty or equivalent. If you are opening a live account, there are no limitations on the size of the initial deposit. Depending on the deposit method, the amount you can deposit per transaction may vary.

There are no limitations on the number of demo account openings. Just provide the correct information.
